During the last year we added several new models to the line of CRYOTON's non-magnetic fiberglass cryostats. Mostly they are intended for application with a SQUID-based measuring systems. A new series of cryostats include low-noise liquid helium and liquid nitrogen cryostats for bio- and geophysical applications. Here we present a few basic models of the fiberglass-based cryostats of these series.

Beginning from 2001 the Model LH-11.5-NTE  is the most popular model of middle size liquid helium cryostats for the MCG-systems. This cryostat was developed for 4-channel MCG-system MCG7 of the SQUID AG Company and demonstrated excellent performance. We extended this basic version by the models LH-12.0-NTE and LH-14.5-NTE. These models have similar construction and keep all positive properties of the model LH-11.5-NTE.  We use these cryostats in biomagnetic measuring modules and MCG-systems such as MCG-6073-GM and MCG/MEG-6193-GM.

The advantage of this line of cryostats is that they need only one re-filing procedure per week and it is very important for use of MCG-systems as a practical instruments in a real clinics and hospitals.

The Model LH-5.3-B is a very compact, liquid helium cryostat designed for application in magnetocardiographic measuring system of Model MCG-6073-G. It contains a minimal amount of reflecting metal shields to decrease the intrinsic magnetic noise. The configuration of internal environment of the cryostat can be changed according individual requirements of customer. This type of cryostats has reliability and mechanical strength, low boil-off rate and light construction.

New! The Model LN-2.0-TI is a light weight, compact, liquid nitrogen cryostat designed for application in biomagnetic measuring systems based on HTS-dc-SQUIDs It has internal tail for fixing of the measuring probe with magnetometers. The inner diameters of the tail can be changed if necessary.

We propose to the market also the miniature low noise liquid nitrogen cryostats of Model LN-0.3-B for bio- and geophysical applications. The volume of cryostats is less than 0.3 liter, but the time of complete evaporation of liquid nitrogen is more that 60 hours.
